Veterinary Receptionist (CSR)

Hawthorne Quality Pet Care is a growing small animal practice located in the community of Lawndale, CA. Our team prides itself in its dynamic ability to effectively care, love, and treat each pet in the moments that are most needed. From scheduling to our surgical suite, each member of our facility is passionate about understanding what each family's vet care needs are. At Hawthorne Quality Pet Care our Customer Service Representatives play a crucial part in the success of our clinic and establish the impression of standards we reflect as a team. We invite highly motivated individuals that are capable of working as a team player as well as working independently with limited overview. Our facility can be fast-paced and high volume, therefore individuals must demonstrate great interpersonal, written, oral communication and great time management skills. Responsibilities:

Cheerful and Positive Attitude when interacting with clients and staff Ensuring patients are checked in promptly and effectively Educating clients and able to communicate effectively using veterinary terminology Great Communications skills to be able to relay patient information to Doctor as well as other staff members to efficiently keep up workflow Kindly greet each client upon arrival and determine what assistance is needed Ability to recognize and handle patients that require isolation Confirming and Effectively Scheduling appointments Answering phone calls, text messages, and email in a timely manner Confirming and charging out services and treatments Patient Intake/Check In Exceptional candidates will have extensive knowledge in pharmacy and surgery discharge, as well as a desire to be a critical part of a growing clinic

Days and Hours of Operation:

Sunday & Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. 10 hrs shifts.
