Medical Receptionist - Are you friendly, organized, dependable, and passionate about creating a positive experience for patients? We are looking for a professional and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our newly opened OB/GYN practice! As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in making every patient feel welcomed, respected, and cared for. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organized while in a fast-paced front office.

What You'll Do:

Warmly greet and check in patients Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally Schedule and confirm appointments Verify patient demographics and insurance information Collect copays and patient balances as appropriate Assist with patient registration and required paperwork Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and medical records Communicate appointment and scheduling information to patients Assist patients with general questions and direct clinical concerns appropriately Maintain accurate information in the electronic health record (EHR) Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA confidentiality Work closely with providers, Medical Assistants, billing staff, and other team members Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front office Will be cross trained for basic back office

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a busy medical office. Excellent customer service, communication, computer, and organizational skills are important. Previous medical office, OB/GYN, or women's health experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate with strong customer service and administrative skills.
