Overview Join our vibrant Manteca Winterfest team as a Check-In team member, where you'll be one of the first points of contact for our guests. Your friendly attitude, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment guests arrive. You will be responsible for efficiently checking in guests with prepaid tickets, assisting customers with ticket purchases, operating the POS system, and helping answer questions about the rink and daily operations. Responsibilities Efficiently check in guests with prepaid tickets and verify ticket information. Assist guests with purchasing tickets at the front desk and provide accurate information about available sessions, pricing, and rink policies. Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently to process ticket purchases and other guest transactions. Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer service to all guests. Answer guest questions and assist with common concerns regarding tickets, sessions, pricing, and rink procedures. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth guest flow and rink operations. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front entrance and check-in area. Support other general rink operations and assist with additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements Excellent communication and customer service skills. Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude. Comfortable interacting with children, families, and large groups of customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. Comfortable using a POS system and learning new technology quickly. Previous ticketing, retail, or customer service experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately verify tickets and process transactions. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic. Ability to stand and work at the front desk for extended periods.
