Alhambra Post Acute is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Ward Clerk / Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our facility. Position Summary The Ward Clerk / Receptionist plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by greeting visitors, answering phones, assisting residents and families, and providing administrative support to clinical and leadership teams. Responsibilities Greet and assist visitors, residents, families, and vendors in a professional manner. Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously. Maintain resident records and assist with clerical duties. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and correspondence. Schedule appointments and coordinate facility communications as needed. Support nursing and administrative staff with data entry, filing, and document management. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Ensure the reception area remains organized and welcoming. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or healthcare clerical experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting is a plus.
