Job Description
Description We are looking for an organized and personable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Menlo Park, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist visitors, ensuring a detail-oriented and friendly first impression.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it remains clean and organized.
- Schedule and prepare meeting rooms, including setting up equipment and materials as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, such as handling correspondence and managing appointments.
- Coordinate deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues with efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with staff and external stakeholders to relay important information.
- Ensure all office supplies are stocked and order replacements when necessary. Requirements
- Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in handling inbound calls and directing them appropriately.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment such as phones, printers, and computers.
- Ability to maintain a detail-oriented approach in all interactions.
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
