Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Menlo Park, California. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth front desk operations by providing excellent customer service, managing incoming calls, and assisting with administrative tasks. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome visitors warmly and ensure their needs are promptly addressed.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls efficiently.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the reception area and meeting rooms.
  • Schedule and coordinate meeting room bookings as requested.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry and document preparation.
  • Provide accurate information to inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Handle mail distribution and package deliveries.
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are upheld at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to support office operations as needed. Requirements
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in handling inbound calls and directing them appropriately.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with basic administrative tasks, including scheduling and document management.
  • Attentive to detail and able to interact effectively with clients and visitors.
  • Proficiency in common office software and tools.
