As the first point of contact, you will manage client communications, schedule appointments, and support veterinary staff with administrative and clinical tasks. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments with efficiency and professionalism Manage medical billing, collections, and insurance documentation accurately using veterinary software Assist with animal handling and restraint during check-ins, examinations, or treatments to ensure safety for pets and staff Support veterinary team with clinical tasks such as animal catheterization, aseptic technique, and basic laboratory procedures Maintain detailed records of patient history, treatments, medications, and laboratory results in compliance with USDA and DEA regulations Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary staff regarding pet care instructions, surgery preparations, or follow-up care Oversee front desk operations including managing pet care supplies, kennel logistics, and client communication to ensure seamless clinic flow Experience Greet clients and their pets warmly and professionally Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries Check clients in and out and process payments accurately Maintain accurate client and patient records Communicate with doctors, veterinary technicians, and other team members Handle prescription requests, medical records, and appointment follow-ups Assist with daily front-desk operations and administrative tasks Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive client experience Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Qualifications Previous veterinary reception or veterinary hospital experience preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and a team player Basic computer skills and ability to learn veterinary software Must be comfortable around dogs and cats Ability to remain calm and compassionate when dealing with stressful situations Join us to become part of a dedicated team committed to exceptional animal care!
