Job Overview Temporary Dental Front Desk Receptionist Location:
Newark, CA Position Type:
Temporary (with potential for additional opportunities)
Schedule:
Part-Time or Full-Time (depending on office needs) We are a modern, patient-focused private dental practice seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Temporary Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and can provide exceptional customer service to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Confirm appointments and manage patient recalls Check patients in and out efficiently Collect payments and maintain accurate records Assist with treatment plan presentations and financial arrangements Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Perform general administrative and office support duties
Qualifications:
Previous dental front office experience required. Familiarity with dental practice management software (Open Dental experience is a plus) Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work independently Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Spanish-speaking preferred
