Job Description

Overview We are seeking a bilingual, energetic, organized, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our office. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, maintain a calm demeanor, and process patient information will contribute to the smooth operation of our front office. You must have reliable transportation, as we do have another office in Thousand Oaks that you would occasionally need to travel to. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a busy optometry and ophthalmology clinic. Duties Greet patients, provide excellent customer service and ensure they feel welcomed and valued. Manage multi-line phone system, directing calls accurately and professionally using proper phone etiquette. Handle all front desk responsibilities including filing, maintaining organized records, and scheduling appointments for multiple providers. Provide optical support to check-in glasses and contacts in a timely manner, and call patients to notify them. Utilize scheduling software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Support office operations by managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes and mail distribution. Money management, to collect, document and make change (as needed) for patient copays, balances, etc. Experience Experience as a medical receptionist or in a role with a focus on customer service and clerical duties. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience managing multi-line phone systems and demonstrating excellent phone communication skills. Bilingual abilities are required to effectively communicate with diverse patients and visitors. Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced medical clinic. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
