Full-time Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 year experience in Veterinary ER, passion for animals and excellent customer service skills. Many shifts available, majority will be weekend shifts and night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the reception area
• Collect payments and process invoices
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and exam rooms
• Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
• Utilize veterinary terminology accurately
• Assist with basic pet care tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred
• Knowledge of medical collections procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of EzyVet and Smartflow is a plus
• Experience with veterinary critical care is beneficial
