Customer Service Receptionist (Club Pet Boarding) - Helen Woodward Animal Center Rancho Santa Fe, CA $20.00 an hour Part Time (Various days & hours, one weekend day and special reservation dates required) Are you passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience? Do you enjoy coordinating communication, record management, and organizing all the details? If so, read on!
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITES
As a Customer Service Receptionist (CSR) for our Club Pet boarding facility you play an incremental role in coordinating a quality client experience. Each day your responsibilities may include the following: customer communications (via phone, email, or in person), managing reservation requests and check-ins, file and medical record-keeping, organizing and maintaining the office-space, and processing daily operational procedures. In this role you are a front-office ambassador to the pets boarding onsite with us. You should be energetic towards learning about cat/dog characteristics as an aspect of your role. We additionally are seeking a candidate who is genuinely excited to work with pet parents and interested in outreach by marketing our boarding services to the community. As a relations expert you are accountable for delivering an excellent customer experience and assisting a guest's needs in a pleasant and professional manner.
Other requirements include:
Demonstrated experience in building and managing positive and effective relationships Solutions/results oriented and passionate about meeting individual and team goals Consistent record of attendance and punctuality 1 year of customer service experience preferably where a high degree of communication was necessary. High school degree or equivalent is required Possess computer skills and proper phone etiquette Familiarity with cat/dog breed characteristics to guide proper care Credible background with managing multiple projects/tasks at once Ability to maintain composure in a busy, loud, and fast-paced environment Ability to work closely with cat and dog dander This position does require moderate physical activity including walking, standing, sitting bending, lifting up to 10 lbs. Candidates can expect to work 100% of the time indoors under normal office conditions. In the role of a Customer Service Receptionist you will represent the Helen Woodward Animal Center by actively working with members of our community.
