Job Description

Robert Half is working on a temp to hire Front Desk Concierge opening with a leading global professional services firm specializing in commercial real estate and investment management. Our client is seeking an experienced, polished, and service-oriented Concierge 3 to support front desk and workplace operations at their Redwood Shores location. This contract opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys being the face of an organization, creating an exceptional visitor experience, and helping ensure daily office operations run seamlessly.

As the first point of contact for employees, guests, vendors, and callers, the Concierge will play a highly visible role in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional workplace. This position combines front desk reception, visitor management, badge administration, call handling, mail and package coordination, work order support, and general administrative assistance.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for employees, visitors, clients, and vendors while serving as a key first point of contact for the site.

Greet and direct guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and positive visitor experience.

Manage incoming phone traffic, promptly route calls to the appropriate individuals or departments, and assist with overflow calls from the call center as needed.

Issue visitor and employee badges in accordance with established site security procedures and maintain accurate access records.

Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and package deliveries while helping resolve routine distribution issues.

Enter, log, track, and assign work orders to support timely follow-up on workplace and facility-related requests.

Provide administrative and clerical support to site leadership and assist with a variety of general office and workplace coordination activities.

Respond to routine questions from employees, clients, and visitors while appropriately escalating more complex issues or concerns.

Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional reception area and shared workspace that reflects high workplace standards.

Follow company and client policies, procedures, and workplace protocols while actively supporting a positive and service-focused office environment.

Participate in site programs, training initiatives, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
