Job Description
Overview Golf Basalt is seeking a friendly, motivated, and golf-oriented Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the game of golf, working with customers, and learning more about golf equipment and retail operations. The Golf Shop Attendant will assist with day-to-day store operations, including customer service, retail sales, merchandising, inventory, and maintaining a clean and professional golf shop environment. Our shop offers a wide selection of golf clubs, apparel, accessories, club fitting, golf instruction, and club repair services. Team members will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with golf equipment and learn more about the golf industry while working alongside PGA professionals. Primary Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional customer service Assist customers with golf clubs, apparel, shoes, accessories, and other merchandise Operate the POS system and process customer transactions Help receive, organize, price, and display merchandise Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming golf shop Assist with inventory and general store operations Answer basic customer questions regarding golf equipment and services Support club fitting, golf instruction, promotional events, and other store activities as needed Preferred Qualifications Golf knowledge or playing experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working in a retail and team environment Willingness to learn about golf equipment and club fitting Previous golf, retail, or customer service experience is a plus This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the golf industry and work in a professional, golf-focused environment.
