Salon Receptionist

The role of a salon receptionist in Iowa typically involves the following responsibilities and qualifications: Greeting customers : Act as the initial point of contact, ensuring a positive first impression. Managing appointments : Schedule and manage appointments efficiently. Handling payments : Process cash and credit card transactions accurately. Maintaining cleanliness : Keep the reception and waiting areas clean and organized. Customer service : Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues. Communication :

Serve as the primary communication link between clients and stylists. Salon receptionists should possess strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with previous experience in a salon or customer service role being preferred. Must be available to work Friday evenings and Saturday mornings/afternoons. Perfect for a recent Cosmetology graduate or in school. This position is to transfer to a Hair Stylist. Must have excellent cleaning skills. Must have strong sales and customer service skills. Must be reliable. Social Media skills a plus.
