Job Description
Job Summary Optometry office are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to appropriate staff members. Manage scheduling and appointments, ensuring efficient use of time for both clients and staff. Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date records in our computerized systems. Assist with office management duties, including maintaining office supplies and equipment. Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution. Support financial operations by utilizing QuickBooks for invoicing and billing as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with company policies. Provide bilingual support to clients when necessary, enhancing communication and service delivery. Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail to ensure accuracy. Familiarity with office management practices and procedures. Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality documentation. Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse clientele. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
