Job Description

Foundation Risk Partners , one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding an Administrative Clerk - Mail & Receivables to their George Petersen Insurance team in Santa Rosa Metro Region.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for processing the daily mail, accurately providing copies to staff, assisting staff with their mailing requests and inquiries, Accounts Receivables and backup for Front Desk.
Essential Functions:
Receives and sorts the daily mail, prioritizing and separating items for Accounting, HR and personal mail received for employees. Properly prepares and ensures all daily outgoing mail is ready to go in a timely manner. Accurately locates and scans mail to the correct Account Manager, determining if copies need to be sent to outer offices, provided to in-office Account Managers or filed. Maintain documents stored for shredding as described in the department procedures. Process & track incoming checks. Log, scan and deposit checks. Process Vendor Invoices. Provide back up for the Front Desk. Ascertains the needs of visitors to the mailroom, assisting accordingly. Prepare UPS, FedEx and overnight packages for pick-up. Keep current on changes in postage prices and packaging requirements. Maintain the Check Binder and handle checks as is outlined in the department procedures. Provide general maintenance and basic troubleshooting of mailroom equipment. Keep mailroom supplies well-stocked and organized. Maintain a clean and well-organized mailroom. Perform other general and job-related duties and projects.
Competencies & Qualifications:
Possess computer skills and a strong work ethic. Dependability is absolutely essential. Ability to multi-task and follow department procedures. Be a team player, detail oriented and organized. Demonstrates strong customer service skills and maintains a professional presence in a front-office environment. High degree of confidentiality required.
Education & Experience:
Prior insurance experience a plus
