Job Description
Montgomery Village Veterinary Clinic is looking for a new member to add to our team! We are a one-doctor General Practice consisting of 1 licensed RVT, and Veterinary Assistants. We are a smaller group of like-minded individuals who share a love for animals and truly enjoy the work that we do. Each member takes much pride in the level of professionalism maintained here in the clinic, but we still always try to make it a priority to keep our days fun and motivating in various ways as well. The team here at MVVC is all about working together to help one another get through each day while expanding on skills and education whenever possible along the way. We are currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist who is eager to learn, comfortable speaking with clients, and shares the passion for the Veterinary field that we are so lucky to find in each and every current MVVC employee. The ideal candidate is someone who has customer service experience as well as is comfortable working in a Veterinary Hospital setting. We are looking for someone who is punctual, detailed oriented, and able to multitask while working in a fast paced environment. We are open to candidates with reception experience but veterinary experience is a major plus! We are open five days a week (Monday-Friday), and are closed on major holidays. Shifts are typically 8:45AM - 5:45PM, with a 1-hour scheduled lunch break. We offer fun lunch-and-learns for interested employees, and have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive clientele. Reception Duties (include but are not limited to): Answering a high-volume of calls Checking patients in/billing clients out Scheduling Customer service Record management Managing voicemails, e-mails, etc. Problem solving Invoicing Completing daily tasks on task list Filling prescriptions Cleaning Restocking Etc.
