Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for a Contract position in South San Francisco, California. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming office environment, managing incoming calls efficiently, and helping visitors and staff have a smooth onsite experience. The position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to adapt to site-specific workplace procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests and employees at the front desk while maintaining a courteous and welcoming presence.
  • Answer and route incoming calls across a multi-line switchboard accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate visitor check-in processes and provide clear guidance on office protocols and arrival procedures.
  • Support onsite administrative needs by handling routine reception tasks and assisting with day-to-day office coordination.
  • Help communicate and reinforce workplace health, safety, and entry procedures for individuals arriving onsite.
  • Maintain an organized reception area and ensure front-office operations run smoothly throughout the day.
