Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service at the front desk Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently Collect and process payments, including medical billing and insurance documentation Maintain accurate medical records using veterinary software systems Assist with animal restraint, handling, and kennel management to ensure safety and comfort for pets and staff Support veterinary team members with laboratory procedures, sample collection, and basic animal husbandry tasks Communicate clearly with clients regarding pet care instructions, treatment plans, and follow-up needs Ensure compliance with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations and USDA guidelines related to medication handling and record keeping Qualifications Proven experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting, including front desk or administrative support roles Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and companion animal medicine Skilled in animal handling, restraint techniques, and basic animal anatomy knowledge Familiarity with veterinary software applications and Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication Ability to perform medical collection procedures such as blood draws or catheterizations when needed Experience with kennel management, animal husbandry, and dog handling techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices, aseptic techniques, laboratory procedures, and veterinary administrative protocols Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
