Start now: Keep it fun, fast and focused What You'll Do As the Receptionist, you are the first impression of our firm. Your friendly and professional presence helps ensure that every client, prospective client, and visitor feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and keeping a professional office environment running smoothly. Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure a positive and professional client-based service experience Answer and redirect incoming calls, emails and text messages Respond to or forward client questions to the appropriate department Greet clients and visitors in a friendly manner and determine the reason for their visit Contact clients to schedule appointments with attorneys and other staff Maintain the reception area, conference room and break room so they are clean and presentable at all times Perform other law firm related tasks as assigned Intake overflow Qualifications High school diploma or GED (A.A. degree or higher preferred) Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment Computer skills including proficiency in Google Suite Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) Excellent interpersonal skills Pleasant, upbeat, and engaging personality Benefits Gold-level medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Simple IRA retirement plan (firm matches your contribution up to 3% of your salary) 10 days paid vacation 7 paid holidays 5 paid sick days
