Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique agency located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. Our goal is to connect local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Receptionist for a construction company in Walnut, CA.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Professionally answer and direct phone calls— phone coverage is the highest priority . Greet and assist visitors, clients, and field staff at the front desk in a courteous and helpful manner. Prepare and format customer quotes accurately, following established company templates. Ensure all required details and line items are included in each quote. Proofread all quotes for grammar, spelling, and formatting before final submission. Open and date-stamp all incoming mail; distribute to appropriate departments. Accurately log and report field crew hours as directed. Prepare and review door service invoices using company templates; correct any errors and flag unclear items for supervisor review. Monitor inboxes for pending tasks and take initiative to complete assignments accurately. Maintain a clean and organized front office environment, including light upkeep such as washing dishes and taking out trash. Support overall office operations as needed. Other tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience : Prior experience office/administrative experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). Must be dependable and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional and friendly demeanor. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.

Temp-to-Hire Schedule:
Monday•Friday from 8:00am•5:00pm
Pay Rate:
$19•$23/hour (Depending on experience)
