If so, you've found the right place. Our Clinic NoCo Spay & Neuter is an independently owned small practice. Our mission is to provide affordable, high quality spay and neuter services for dogs and cats. We provide services to public clients and our rescue partners. We offer a friendly workplace where there is opportunity to learn and enhance your skill set. We do not tolerate drama or gossip. Schedule Full-time (32-36 hours/week). Our hours are 7:50AM
  • 5PM Monday-Thursday (with one Thursday a month off), although on occasion hours may be longer.

•. Job Description We are looking for a veterinary receptionist to help us schedule our spay and neuter surgeries. You will be primarily responsible for answering the phone and scheduling appointments, as well as managing patient drop-offs and discharges. You will also help with generating paperwork for surgical patients and scanning/emailing records to clients. You will also help out the veterinary staff with weighing, lifting, and restraining patients. Other tasks throughout the day include opening shipments, restocking supplies, and cleaning. Please note that we are a smoke-free workplace
  • no smoking is allowed on company property. Qualifications
  • Either Receptionist
  • or• Veterinary experience is required•High school diploma or equivalent required•US work authorization required Skills (some of these are required, some we can train)•experience with Microsoft Windows•required•experience with Microsoft Access•ability to type 45 words-per-minute•required•ability to safely restrain dogs and cats•ability to read canine and feline body language, and experience working with fearful and/or aggressive pets Attributes We Are Looking For•Attention to detail•Sense of humor•Accountability•Friendly•Good communication skills•Positive attitude•Self-motivated•Reliable•Ability to multi-task Physical Requirements•Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance, and more with assistance•Must be able to stand for periods of time and able to kneel to clean cages and restrain animals Benefits•Employee discounts•Sick Leave•Paid Vacation/Holiday Time (waiting period may apply)•
