Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Original Path Counseling Centennial, CO Job Details Part-time $19 - $23 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Collaboration Phone communication Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Associate's degree Full Job Description Original Path Counseling, a group practice in Centennial, CO, is looking for a part time administrative assistant to join our counseling practice. We are looking for an independent, driven, and team-oriented individual to enhance our collaborative and positive minded team. The Administrative Assistant will help manage the front desk of Original Path Counseling. The assistant answers phones, maintains client records, coordinates appointments with clinicians, schedules new clients, and works alongside the office manager with billing and communications to both clients and insurance companies.
Hours:
Monday-Thursdays 2:00 pm-8:00 pm, Fridays 11:00 am-5:00 pm. Minimum 20 hours, average 24-26 hours, opportunity to work up to 30 hours per week.
Reports to:
Office Manager and Practice Owner Minimum Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Available to work in-office part time a minimum of 20 hours per week, primarily afternoon and evening hours Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Other Qualification Preferences:
Desire to work in the mental health field (i.e. completing undergraduate degree/internship in psychology or social work, previous experience in a mental health clinic, etc.) Associates degree or 1 year administrative or medical office experience Prior experience using an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system Initial training hours with the Office Manager during the first month can be flexible until you are fully trained to start working the afternoon/evening schedule
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Field new client inquiries and schedule them with the appropriate clinician within an appropriate time frame. Maintain and manage clinician schedules. Verify new client insurance benefits before their first session and notify clients of benefit details. Communicate regularly with clinical staff regarding new appointments and their availability. Check new client files to ensure all intake paperwork is completed electronically in their EHR account. Maintain accuracy of all client files. Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Original Path Counseling. Work alongside the office manager to submit, rectify, and follow up with insurance claims. Manage social media accounts for the practice. Attend Staff Meetings as directed by Original Path Counseling. Staff meetings are mandatory and held during the day every other month. Coordinate with management for daily tasks. Other duties which may be assigned by Original Path Counseling. This is an in-office position, regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
