Job Description
Privately owned Physical Therapy practice seeking a dynamic team player for the front desk. Front desk knowledge and experience is preferred but not required. Must have an outgoing personality mixed with professionalism and organization. The front desk coordinator is the first point of contact for patients. The position is responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, completing administrative processing (authorizations and verifications), compiling administrative reports, and record keeping. We are seeking an individual who is personable and naturally friendly, bright and inquisitive, and an excellent communicator. The ability to support patients, answer their questions, and lead them in directions to solve issues is essential. Essential Job Functions/Qualifications Proficient computer and typing skills and software knowledge Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills Able to demonstrate excellent phone etiquette Able to work independently and take initiative Must be able to manage time efficiently Requires the ability to multitask
