Job Description
About the Role We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist / Optical Assistant to be the first point of contact for our patients. This role is essential to creating a warm, welcoming experience while keeping our front office running smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggles multiple priorities with ease, and genuinely enjoys helping people. What You'll Do Greet patients warmly and manage a busy front desk with a positive, professional demeanor Check patients in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments Collect co-pays, update patient information, and maintain accurate files Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and route calls appropriately Coordinate with clinical staff to keep patient flow on schedule Order and receive contact lenses Help with pre-testing patients when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing accuracy or composure What We're Looking For Excellent multitasking skills — able to manage phones, check-ins, and scheduling all at once Friendly, approachable disposition — a genuine people-person who puts patients at ease Strong computer skills — comfortable with EHR/practice management software, scheduling systems, and general office software Clear, professional communication — both in person and over the phone Prior experience in a medical office, front desk, or patient-facing role preferred Familiarity with insurance verification and medical office procedures is a plus Ability to stay organized and calm during busy periods Why Join Us Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a real difference in patients' experience from the moment they walk in Located in Lone Tree, CO Opportunity for career growth How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume and a brief cover letter detailing relevant experience.
