Job Description

We are seeking a kind, professional, and motivated front desk receptionist to support our busy evenings and weekends at CTFA! Our practice mission is to provide holistic healthcare to as many people as possible, and this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. We are a close-knit, collaborative team that values kindness, communication, and supporting one another. As our practice continues to grow, we're excited to invest in someone who wants to grow with us and serve as a long-term part of our team. Schedule Weekday evening availability required between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM (Wethersfield and South Windsor, but may be asked to fill in in Glastonbury) Saturday availability required between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM (Glastonbury) Sunday availability a bonus - between 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM (Glastonbury) 16-20 hours per week Compensation Starting at $20/hour Benefits Flexible paid time off Paid sick days As a small business, we are unfortunately unable to sponsor health insurance for our employees What You'll Do This is a dynamic role where you'll be balancing phones, patient check-ins, scheduling, and communication while maintaining a calm, welcoming presence.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients and creating a warm, peaceful first impression Managing phone calls, emails, and scheduling across multiple providers and locations Collecting and organizing patient information accurately Assisting with insurance-related questions (training provided) Processing payments and maintaining electronic health records Supporting practitioners by helping keep treatment rooms and common areas clean and organized Contributing to a smooth, collaborative workflow across the team What We're Looking For Strong multitasking skills with a calm, professional demeanor Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and software Quick learner, especially with health insurance concepts Excellent communication skills (phone, in-person, email, text) Detail-oriented and highly organized Team player who collaborates well with others Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when needed Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance Willingness to assist with light cleaning and maintaining a peaceful clinic environment This Role is a Great Fit if you: Are looking for a part-time, high-impact role in a healthcare setting Enjoy building relationships with patients and being a consistent, welcoming presence Are excited to learn medical administration and insurance processes Thrive in a team-oriented environment Appreciate holistic health and wellness Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Experience in a multi-provider or multi-location medical or holistic practice preferred Experience in a HIPAA-compliant setting strongly preferred How to Apply Step 1: Complete our interest form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdnpJJGXiczmPKFlTA2EgJWz1Fbcs5jiKOk_nDs25Bskeljdg/viewform Step 2: Email Kristin, Practice Manager, at kristin@ctfamilyacupuncture.com with your resume and a brief introduction.
