The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with office management tools, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous office or clerical experience, along with familiarity with medical or dental reception duties, is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming office atmosphere while supporting daily operations. Responsibilities Greet visitors and patients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages Schedule appointments and manage calendar appointments Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records Assist with office management duties including supply inventory and organization of files Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional environment Skills Experience with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of clerical procedures including data entry, filing, proofreading, and office management practices Customer service experience with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Previous experience as a medical or dental receptionist is advantageous but not required; relevant office experience is also beneficial This position requires a professional demeanor, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
