The Opportunity We are looking for a warm, positive, and client-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first and last person our clients see, you will play an important role in shaping their experience from the moment they walk through our doors. This position is ideal for someone who combines excellent hospitality and multitasking skills with a genuine love of animals and the people who care for them. What You'll Do Champion the Client Experience Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism. Manage efficient check-in and check-out processes. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and comfortable front-desk environment. Help create a positive experience for clients, even during stressful or emotional visits. Manage Communications Answer and direct multi-line phone calls. Respond to client emails and other communications. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow. Communicate information clearly and compassionately with clients. Support Practice Workflow Use veterinary practice management software to update patient records. Process payments and maintain accurate client information. Assist with prescription and food refill requests. Help keep daily front-office operations running smoothly. Work as Part of the Team Communicate effectively with veterinary technicians, doctors, and other team members. Provide accurate and timely updates to clients who are waiting. Pitch in wherever needed to support a positive, collaborative workplace. What We're Looking For Experience Previous veterinary reception or medical front-desk experience is highly preferred. Exceptional customer service experience will also be considered—we are happy to train the right person. Personality & Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
