Job Overview We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine desire to support our mission through exceptional customer service. This role involves managing front desk operations, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily office functions to support our staff and the children we serve. Duties Greet visitors, clients, and staff with professionalism and warmth, creating a positive first impression.
Dress Code:
Maintain a professional appearance and report to work in business casual attire at all times. Clothing should be neat, clean, appropriate for a professional office environment, and suitable for interacting with clients, families, visitors, and community partners. Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls accurately and courteously. Handle data entry tasks using productivity software such as Microsoft Office and spreadsheets with precision. Maintain organized filing systems and manage clerical documentation to ensure accessibility and compliance. Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments for staff members as needed. Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally. Provide administrative and front office support by assisting with office management duties, including monitoring and ordering supplies, preparing correspondence, proofreading documents, and completing general administrative tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and professional office environment, ensuring common areas and restrooms are regularly checked, cleaned, and fully stocked. Qualifications Proven experience in office management or administrative support roles, preferably within a nonprofit or social services environment. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, data entry, and word processing software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Exceptional phone etiquette skills with experience managing multi-line phone systems. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve diverse community needs. Previous clerical experience including filing, proofreading, and calendar management is preferred. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
