Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, and must demonstrate excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills. The receptionist plays a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and safe environment while performing various administrative tasks to support facility operations.Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner. Answer and direct phone calls promptly and accurately using a multi-line phone system. Monitor and control access to the building per facility protocol. Maintain the front desk and lobby areas in a neat and organized condition. Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, copying, scanning, and handling mail. Schedule appointments and assist in maintaining accurate resident records. Support various departments with general administrative tasks as needed. Communicate effectively and tactfully with patients, families, and co-workers to uphold a respectful and therapeutic environment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other confidentiality policies. Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required . Customer service experience is required; healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred . Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Must be courteous, professional, and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both verbal and written. Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic. Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is a plus .
