This is a PT position with the potential to become
FT. OVERVIEW
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to patients, visitors, and other guests at the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets patients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location Answers, screens, and directs phone calls; takes messages Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items. Performs administrative and clerical support tasks Report any complaints to immediate supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION /
EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED. Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. Extensive standing for long periods of time (daily) and walking long distances (daily) Work flow subject to frequent interruptions Must be able to lift up to 20lbs May be subject to work outside of the facility when working under inclement weather
