Job Description

We are opening a brand new veterinary clinic on June 1st. We are searching for a animal lover motivated person that wants to be part of a team dedicated to providing the best care to animals and support their owners! We're seeking someone who is: Warm, friendly, and empathetic with clients and their pets An excellent communicator—clear, kind, and professional in person and on the phone Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using digital systems and willing to learn new software Detail-oriented and responsible with scheduling, records, and client communication A positive, team-oriented individual who contributes to a supportive workplace We are a close-knit team, and everyone plays a role in supporting the hospital. This position may occasionally assist in different areas, so a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key. •Our clinic is paper-light and digitally driven, so comfort with computers and technology is essential. ​ ​ Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients with a welcoming, professional demeanor Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders Answer phones and respond to emails/texts promptly and compassionately Enter and maintain accurate patient records in digital systems Process invoices, payments, and basic financial transactions Coordinate communication between clients, doctors, and staff Assist with workflow efficiency and daily front desk operations​ ​ Ideal Qualifications Prior veterinary or medical front desk experience preferred (but not required) Experience with customer service, hospitality, or client-facing roles Comfortable learning practice management software (e.g., Digitail or similar) Strong typing skills and basic computer proficiency Ability to stay calm, organized, and compassionate in high-stress situations ​ ​ Why Join VetNest?
