Job Description
Description Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Receptionist to provide short-term office coverage for a few days at a time. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable stepping into a front desk environment, learning quickly, and maintaining a welcoming and organized space while regular staff are out of the office. The selected individual will receive an initial walkthrough of the office, responsibilities, and daily procedures, and will then be expected to work independently for the remainder of the assignment. Responsibilities
+ Greet and check in visitors, guests, or patients in a professional manner
+ Answer general front desk inquiries and provide basic assistance
+ Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized lobby or reception area
+ Prepare coffee and assist with light hospitality duties as needed
+ Receive, sort, and distribute mail or deliveries
+ Prepare, reset, and tidy meeting rooms, flex rooms, or shared spaces between use
+ Support basic clerical or administrative tasks as assigned
+ Help ensure the office runs smoothly during staff absence Requirements Qualifications
+ Previous receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience preferred
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Professional presentation and customer service mindset
+ Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
+ Comfortable handling light clerical and hospitality-related tasks
+ Quick learner with the ability to adapt to short-term assignments
