Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and administrative support. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing front desk activities, handling multi-line phone systems, and providing exceptional customer service. As front office person, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate coding, and facilitating smooth communication between healthcare providers and patients.
MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE. PART TIME POSITION.
Responsibilities Greet patients when arriving for appointments. Answer phones as the needed. Call patients for appointment and lab reminders. Filing as needed. Sending and receiving fax to and from PCP offices'. Data entry Check in/Check out patients. Maintain detailed records of billing activities, payments, and collections. Assist in resolving patient billing inquiries while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Drive to both locations. Experience a plus Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards. Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems used for billing and record-keeping. Strong understanding of CPT coding, ICD-10 coding systems and medical coding best practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to adapt quickly to evolving healthcare regulations and coding updates. When our patients walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand.
Office hours:
Monday 9am - Thursday 4:45pm hiring 2 part time receptionist up to 30 hours per week. Must have a vehicle. Background and drug test required. 2 office locations:
