Job Description
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for answering the telephone and covering the front desk during normal business hours. Prepares and deposits in designated checking and savings accounts all monies received Responsible for receipting and depositing all payments received Prepares reports and documents as assigned by the Business Office/Administrator Maintains all records and documents in an organized orderly system Sorts, disburses to appropriate individuals, and processes all incoming and outgoing mail Handles the petty cash box and assists residents with funds. Works with the IDT to ensure efficient communication. Work with the admissions team to welcome new residents and families.Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior front desk, administrative, or office experience required. Long term care experience preferred. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must possess patience, excellent organization skills, and assertiveness and be a conscientious person. Must be able to work with an elder population. Must present a professional appearance. Must have a pleasant and helpful personality both in person and via the telephone. Must be proficient with computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment. Must be able to work well and cooperate with fellow employees. Must be able to meet all local health regulations and pass the pre/post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background check, and reference inquiry.Benefits offered:
