Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and compassionate approach will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals. In this vital role, you will create a welcoming environment, manage appointments, handle medical records, and support the smooth operation of the clinic. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to providing exceptional care for animals and outstanding service for clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to animal health and well-being. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Schedule appointments efficiently while accommodating urgent cases and client needs Collect payments with accuracy Maintain organized medical records, update patient histories, and ensure confidentiality Assist with medical collection procedures and manage laboratory sample processing when needed Support kennel operations by coordinating pet boarding, feeding, cleaning, and animal husbandry tasks Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information on services, appointments, and pet care advice Assist in animal restraint during examinations or treatments using proper animal handling techniques Experience Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is highly preferred but not mandating Experience with dog handling is preferred Familiarity with laboratory procedures Kennel experience or background in animal husbandry enhances your ability to support daily operations Strong communication skills combined with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are necessary Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication makes a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.
