Overview :
Florida Engineering is looking for an Inbound Call Receptionist who will serve as the first point of contact for clients, contractors, and partners. This role is critical in managing inbound calls, gathering essential details, and routing inquiries to the right team members for quick resolution. You'll join a fast-paced front office team that collectively handles 75-150 calls per day .
Responsibilities Include :
Answer and manage high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and empathy. Gather detailed information from callers, including project numbers, nature of inquiry, and contact details for follow-up. Direct calls to the appropriate department or team members efficiently. Proactively seek answers and attempt to resolve issues before escalating. Maintain accurate call logs and ensure timely communication for callbacks. Collaborate with internal teams via MS Outlook, MS Teams, and Excel to track and share information. Support front office operations with occasional administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
Experience in an inbound call role (high-volume environment preferred). Familiarity with engineering or construction industry is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult conversations.
