Job Description

Advanced Canine Development (ACD) is seeking a bright, high-energy, and reliable Front Desk Coordinator to join our pack in Punta Gorda! If you love dogs, thrive on making people smile, and want a professional office role where you get to see happy, well-mannered pups every single day, this is the perfect job for you. As our Front Desk Coordinator, you are the face and voice of ACD. You will be the first person our clients see when they walk in and the friendly voice they hear when they call. This is an entry-level position that combines essential administrative work with hands-on client and pup interaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
First Impressions & Canine Check-Ins The Ultimate Greeter:
Welcome clients and their dogs into the lobby with a warm, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
Check-In/Check-Out:
Safely and efficiently check dogs in and out for their training and boarding stays.
Lobby Pride:
Maintain a clean, tidy, beautifully organized front office and lobby area. Phones, Scheduling & Inquiries Man the
Phones:
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails timely and professionally.
Smart Scheduling:
Answer basic questions about our programs and schedule evaluation appointments using our in-house computer software. Refer prospective clients to Director of Client Services, as appropriate. Lead Care (GHL): Use our GoHighLevel (GHL) system to log new inquiries and follow up with interested pet parents using our standard team cadence (checking in 2 days and 1 week after their initial inquiry).
Pups & Community Support Event Hype:
Help spread the word to our clients about upcoming company events, including our monthly Saturday morning Restaurant Breakfast Walks.
Daily Admin:
Handle light data entry, organize daily paperwork, file documents, and assist with simple retail or inventory tracking.
Job Requirements The Right Attitude:
A friendly, positive, "can-do" personality is an absolute must. You must genuinely love working with both people and animals.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, retail, or customer service role is preferred, but we will train the right motivated individual.
Computer Savvy:
Comfortable learning new computer software quickly, with basic working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Multitasking Pro:
Ability to stay calm, focused, and organized when the lobby gets busy or the phones are ringing.
Canine Comfort:
Must be completely comfortable working around and interacting with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds.
