Job Description
Operates main switchboard. Determines purpose of calls and forwards calls to appropriate associate or department. Provides callers with information such as company address, direction to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information. Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Receives and distributes all incoming packages (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) by emailing the recipient. Responsible for the ordering, receiving, and stocking of FedEx supplies. Maintain phone extension, home address, and birthday chart lists. Prepare and send weekly Travel Schedule. Send birthday announcements. Stuff and label birthday and anniversary cards sent monthly to property associates. Control inventory relevant to the reception area. Tidy and maintain the reception area. Provide general administrative and clerical support and assist other departments with miscellaneous tasks as needed. Regular and reliable attendance. High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typical office environment. This is largely a sedentary role as associate must remain at the reception desk to perform duties listed above. May need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Noise level is moderate. Must have the ability to read and speak English in order to perform the duties of the job. Computer literate. Must be proficient in MS Outlook. Needs availability during the weekdays and weekends.
