In person 4th Street Pet Hospital is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Coordinator to join our team. This position is much more than answering phones and scheduling appointments. Our front desk team is the first and last point of contact for our clients and plays an important role in keeping the hospital running smoothly. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, loves animals, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in providing excellent service. What You'll Do Welcome clients and patients and help create a positive experience from the moment they arrive Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls Schedule appointments and communicate appointment information clearly Check clients and patients in and out of the hospital Process payments and review invoices with clients Communicate with doctors, technicians, and other team members regarding client and patient needs Respond to client questions and provide general information about hospital services Maintain accurate client and patient information Keep the reception and lobby areas clean, organized, and professional Assist with other hospital responsibilities when needed Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who is: Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people Dependable and punctual Able to stay calm and organized during busy periods Comfortable handling multiple tasks at the same time Detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures Comfortable working with computers, phones, and scheduling software A strong team player who communicates well with coworkers Compassionate and respectful when working with clients during difficult or emotional situations Previous veterinary reception or animal hospital experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong customer service experience and the right attitude. Availability to work within our hospital's operating schedule, including some Saturdays, is required. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $16.00
