Job Description
Our family-oriented dermatology practice in Stuart is seeking a motivated Medical Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator to join our amazing, supportive, and team-focused environment. TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience in a medical office or front desk/reception role preferred
- Strong computer skills; EMR experience required ( EMA preferred )
- Experience with insurance, including eligibility, authorizations, and referrals
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy medical office
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, friendly, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred) Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
POSITION COLLABORATION
This position will work closely with our Nurse Practitioner and the clinical team, helping coordinate patient flow and supporting Cosmetic Procedures, Mohs, Surgical and other services we offer. The position will also assist with cosmetic product ordering, inventory, and keeping products and supplies organized and available.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Provide exceptional front desk experience; Manage high-volume phone lines and schedule appointments efficiently; Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system; Collect patient payments. Work directly with Ana to help coordinate appointments; Assist with patient scheduling and communication related to cosmetic services; Order and maintain cosmetic products and supplies; Monitor inventory and communicate when products or supplies need to be reordered; Keep the front office, product areas, and supplies organized and tidy; Monitor Weave messages, calls, faxes, and follow-up tasks; Communicate with the clinical team when patients need assistance or sooner appointments; Support overall office flow to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction; Assist other front office and clinical staff as needed.INCLUSIVE HIRING INFORMATION
