Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our medical practice. The ideal candidate enjoys working with patients, has excellent communication skills, and can multitask in a busy medical office environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately Answer and route incoming phone calls Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and eligibility Collect copays, deductibles, and other patient balances Obtain necessary referrals, authorizations, and medical records Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information Communicate with physicians, medical assistants, and other staff regarding patient needs Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence Assist with medical records and scanning documents into the electronic medical record Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Protect patient privacy and follow all HIPAA requirements Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism with patients, families, and staff Perform other administrative duties as needed Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years' medical office or healthcare front-desk experience, preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable answering multiple phone lines and assisting patients in person Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical record systems Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations is a plus Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who is patient-focused, dependable, organized, and works well as part of a team . Pay:
