Job Description

Front Desk Receptionist - AMAC Financial Center Full-Time | On-Site | Tavares, Florida Help set the standard at AMAC's first brick-and-mortar Financial Center. AMAC is opening its first AMAC Financial Center—a welcoming, one-stop location where members and local residents can receive personalized help with financial planning, Medicare Supplement insurance, Social Security questions, and other important services. We are looking for a polished, dependable Receptionist who will make every visitor feel welcomed, respected, and well cared for. As the first person people see and often the first voice they hear, you will set the tone for the entire Center. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating an excellent customer experience, stays composed in a busy office, and enjoys helping people find the right next step. What You'll Do
  • Warmly greet members, prospective clients, and visitors and help them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive
  • Ask thoughtful questions to understand each visitor's needs and connect them with the appropriate AMAC professional
  • Answer and route incoming calls, take accurate messages, and follow through on requests promptly
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain accurate calendars
  • Provide general information about the Center's services and next steps while referring financial, insurance, and Social Security questions to the appropriate professional
  • Assist with data entry, scanning, filing, correspondence, mail, packages, and other day-to-day office needs
  • Maintain an organized, professional, and inviting reception area
  • Handle personal and confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
  • Support team projects, meetings, and special events as needed What We're Looking For
  • A warm, confident, and professional communication style—in person and on the phone
  • A genuine desire to help people, along with the patience and listening skills to work effectively with mature Americans
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities without losing follow-through
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work full-time on-site in Tavares
  • Comfort using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn scheduling and customer-management systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of receptionist, administrative support, hospitality, or high-touch customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or a professional office environment is a plus, but not required Why Join AMAC?
