Salon Front Desk Associate

Duties Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk in Manage appointment scheduling using POS (Point of Sale) systems, confirming bookings and adjusting as needed Handle all cashiering responsibilities with accuracy, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing registers at shift end Promote retail products through upselling techniques and product demos to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Maintain an organized front desk area by stocking retail shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring promotional materials are current Answer phone calls professionally, providing information about services, booking appointments, or directing inquiries to the appropriate team member Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies, conducting stock checks, and supporting product merchandising efforts Support the team with basic retail math to process transactions efficiently and accurately while providing excellent customer service Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills with a friendly phone etiquette that makes clients feel appreciated Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and retail math principles Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail setting is advantageous but not required Basic math skills for cash register operations and transaction accuracy Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our clients while supporting the vibrant culture of our salon.
