Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for pet owners, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess strong communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical collection processes. Assist veterinarians with patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and performing initial assessments. Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets. Provide information about services offered, including preventive care, treatments, and products available at the clinic. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing medical records effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and their pets. Must have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
