Job Description

Advanced Spine and Pain Interventions is a private practice seeking a dependable, professional, and organized Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. This is an in-person position serving our Jasper, GA and Alpharetta, GA locations. We are looking for someone who is friendly, patient-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to manage both patient-facing and administrative responsibilities.

No weekends About the Practice Advanced Spine and Pain Interventions is a private practice providing care in pain management, medical cannabis evaluations, and additional wellness-related services, including but not limited to weight loss injection support. Our team is committed to providing compassionate, professional, and efficient patient care. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Greeting and checking in patients Answering and returning phone calls Scheduling and confirming appointments Collecting copays and patient balances Verifying and updating patient information Scanning and uploading documents into the EHR system Processing referrals and assisting with referral tracking Communicating with patients, pharmacies, providers, and outside offices Assisting with prior authorization support as needed Maintaining accurate documentation in Athenahealth EHR Managing incoming faxes and paperwork Supporting patient flow throughout the office Keeping the front desk area organized and professional Providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors Supporting daily administrative workflow as needed Requirements Previous front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred Medical office experience preferred but not required Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, dependable, and punctual Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting Comfortable using computers, phones, scanners, and office equipment Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPPA regulations Willingness to learn and grow with the practice Preferred Qualifications Experience with Athenahealth preferred Prior medical office or specialty practice experience preferred Experience with scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, or prior authorizations is a plus Bilingual candidates are a plus, but bilingual ability is not required Experience collecting copays and handling patient payments is a plus Benefits and Perks Paid time off Paid holidays No weekends Growth opportunity within the practice Supportive team environment How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume for consideration.
