Job Description
Still Waters Counseling & Assessments is seeking a warm, dependable, and highly organized part-time receptionist to support our front office. We are a Christian, faith-based behavioral-health practice providing counseling and psychological services to individuals and families in our community. The receptionist is often a client's first point of contact with our practice. The right person will communicate with warmth and professionalism while also maintaining clear boundaries, accuracy, confidentiality, and follow-through. Responsibilities Answer and return telephone calls professionally and compassionately Respond to prospective-client inquiries and explain the intake process Send and monitor intake paperwork Schedule and confirm appointments Welcome clients and assist with routine front-office needs Collect copayments, balances, and other payments Maintain accurate demographic and insurance information Communicate client messages to clinicians appropriately Assist with scanning, filing, records, and other administrative tasks Protect client privacy and comply with HIPAA and practice confidentiality requirements Help maintain an orderly, peaceful, and professional office environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer-service experience preferred Experience in a healthcare, behavioral-health, or medical office strongly preferred Experience with TherapyNotes or another electronic health-record system is a plus Comfortable using computers, email, multiline telephone systems, and standard office equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Able to communicate kindly and clearly with individuals who may be anxious or distressed Comfortable collecting payments and communicating practice policies respectfully Dependable, punctual, discreet, and able to work independently Comfortable supporting the mission and values of a Christian, faith-based counseling practice Schedule and Compensation Tuesday through Friday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. 16 hours per week $15.00 per hour In-person position in LaGrange, Georgia About Still Waters Still Waters Counseling & Assessments is a growing private practice committed to providing compassionate, ethical, and clinically excellent care.
