Front Desk Receptionist

IMMEDIATE

opening for a bilingual Spanish Front Desk Receptionist to join a fast-paced medical clinic. The successful candidate will check patients in and out by verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining patient records and accounts. Provide positive patient relations.

• Prepare the clinic for opening each day by reviewing the facility, opening all systems applications, and preparing new patient registration packets and required documents.
• Greet patients, provide patients with paperwork and obtain copies of insurance and identification cards.
• Answer a high-volume telephone line
• Triage calls and direct callers to the correct departments.
• Register patients, update patient records, verify insurance accurately and timely, and check patients out.
• Determine, collect, and process patient payments and address collection and billing issues.
• Complete closing procedures by preparing closing documentation.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required:

• 1+ year of relevant work experience
• Fluent in Spanish (speaking, writing)
• Professional phone etiquette
• Proficiency with computers
• Can keep up in a fast-paced environment
• Dependability, good attendance

Preferred:

experience in medical / clinic environment
