Job Description
Corporate Aircraft Furniture Builder - Experienced Job Overview JenJac's is currently seeking experienced Cabinet Makers, Woodworkers, and/or Carpenters to join our team of Experienced Cabinet Builder Technicians. As a Cabinet Builder/Woodworker, you will be responsible for crafting and assembling various wooden products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with power tools and read blueprints. Employees will be trained to construct high-end/custom aircraft furniture to customer specifications. Responsibilities/daily tasks
- Learn to construct high-end aircraft interiors through on-the-job training
- Assemble wooden components according to specifications
- Use and maintain general woodworking tools
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety practices set forth by the company handbook
- Install fixtures, cabinets, and other wooden structures
- Use power tools and hand tools to shape, cut, and smooth wood surfaces
- Apply caulk and other sealants to ensure a finished appearance
- Prep panels prior to being issued to the floor
- Box up drawer's and lay quality fillet seals
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of building cabinets or general woodworking experience
- May be waived for completion of college course work regarding Aircraft Cabinetmaking
- Ability to pick up new ideas and follow direction
- Ability to use and maintain general woodworking and shop tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Ability to work in a team environment and take directions from a co-worker
- Willing to purchase tools needed for work
- Ability to work Monday - Saturday 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM The Cabinet Builder/Woodworker will begin in panel prep to grasp our production concept.
