Under the supervision of the clerical supervisor, the Receptionist performs a variety of duties involving scheduling, receiving patients, ordering medical imaging procedures, retrieving film folders, filing film folders and distributing reports. Greets all departmental visitors and screens all incoming calls to ensure that all communication is efficient and accurate. Schedules appointments according to established procedures. Retrieve patient data from computer systems. Enters orders for procedures accurately. Retrieves and files film folders. Distributes reports.
